ETIX is linux distribution.It’s created from scratch and use linux live script to make ETIX become Live.ETIX try to be simple,useful and beautiful.
ETIX include Kernel 2.6.23.8,JDK 6,BlueJ for learning about object oriented programming in java.ETIX use light desktop EDE.ETIX ISO just only 350 MB without NetBean and 430MB with NetBean,feedback or question (and maybe donation :- ) ) can be sent to candraadiputra@gmail.com

just read about your project at freshmeat.com and was curious to know what inspired you to make such a distribution of linux and what is the future of this distro…

this is just initial release.next future I have plan to make this distro more powerful.
next relase maybe 3 - 6 mont later (code “edelweis”
1.include JME and JEE (if the JME and JEE lisence allow me to include in my distro)
2.next realase will have new installer to hardisk
3.support to wifi
4.new management paket(my design).
5.and other improvement…,mybe next day i will post
the ETIX ROADMAP..
what inspired me? i just want to learn how linux work.
i just want linux and java in single free environment.
